Recordings can be created from any phone by dialing *732 and setting a recording number. The phone server will then begin recording and storing an audio file. When complete, press # and review the recording. If everything is complete, press 1 to confirm, and the phone will hang up. The audio file is stored on the server and can be used for IVR's or other caller announcements.
If uploading a pre-recorded audio file, it must be in 16-bit, 8Khz, and mono.

- Dial *732#
- If you receive a request for a PIN, please contact support and have them change/remove this from the Dialplan
- If you cannot dial and you get disconnected, please contact support and have them change/remove Feature Codes from your phone
- Enter an ID number and press # - Create a new number for your recording, 123, 1001, etc.
- Start the recording, when complete press #.
- You may then review the recording, or record a new recording using the prompts.
- Login to phone server
- Click on Applications, then select IVR.
- Select the IVR you wish to change.
- Select recording, a file with the ID number entered when created will appear. Select it and click Save
- The recording will now play when the IVR is dialed.
¶ Clipping and Uploading a Recording
You may also record your own audio, or solicit an outside service such as Voices.com to produce audio. Either way you may be required to cut and clip audio for specific recordings. One way to accomplish this is to you Audacity.

- Once installed you can open the final audio file and highlight the part of the recording you wish to clip
- Right Click and select Split Clip
- Press the Play button to review the audio
- Select File, Export, Export Selected Audio
- Select Wav file, and save
- You may now upload this to the phone server
To modify audio level, lower the volume on the left side menu next to the audio stream
